Air cargo movement in and out of the Rita affected areas of Texas is becoming limited as airlines temporarily halt service into the area. Airports that have been adversely affected by the weather are IAH, HOU, and MFE. So far there has been no immediate impact to DFW, AUS, and SAT. Some Airlines are instructing shippers to re-route inbound cargo destined to IAH and MFE to DFW where trucking arrangements will be made on Monday. Many airlines have issued an official statement on their websites in regards to the temporary flight stoppage. See the below websites for carrier specific information.

American Airlines
United Airlines
Continental Airlines
