“save Delta in the near term, so that it can compete and win in the long term.â€
Major tenets of the plan include:
1. In court restructuring to alleviate debts.
2. Revenue and network productivity improvements.
3. Re-examing employee compensation.
As part of Delta’s revenue and network productivity improvements, Delta plans to reduce their domestic mainline capacity and expand internationally in more profitable lane segments.
