American Trucking Association concerned about fast rising fuel prices

The American Trucking Association is worried that ever increasing fuel prices could lead to serious problems within the industry. :

“Preliminary indications are that Katrina could shave a half point to a point off the domestic GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth rate,” said Heffron in her latest industry report. “Since the transportation business is strongly linked to the general economy, any slowdown would hurt transportation companies in general.”
