Apics Launches CSCP Designation

It’s official, APICS announced the launch of it’s new “Certified Supply Chain Professional” program during their annual conference this month. The program is geared towards professionals who:
1. Are interested in more depth of knowledge and understanding in the areas of supplier and customer relations, international trade, the use of information technology to enable the supply chain, and physical logistics.
2. A professional who is consulting or teaching supply chain functions.
3. Working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
The CSCP program was created to “enable you to advance your career while giving you the foundation to improve your company’s position and profitability.”
The CSCP is made up of the following four domains:
1. Supply Chain Management Fundamentals
2. Building Competitive Operations, Planning, and Logistics
3. Managing Customer and Supplier Relationships
4. Using Information Technology to Enable Supply Chain Management
