PlaneNation has some cool pics of the inside of the Boeing 747-400 LCF and of it flying.

To quote PlaneNation :

The LCF joins the Flying Ugly Club; members include the Super Guppy and Beluga

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Do you guys know of a new Seattle based all cargo carrier who has contracted to buy four 747-400’s? I’ve seen a picture of what was supposed to be the first one and some notes on an employment site saying that they were hiring. But I haven’t seen anything since (this was back in May/June).

By the way, I ran into that information when I was doing a consulting project where I had to list all the all cargo carriers in the world. There really isn’t a list of all them in any one place, believe it not. If you want the list, I’ll send it to you. (It may be missing one or two, but it has more than I could find anywhere in one place on the internet.)

I vaguely remember something of the sort, but can’t remember anything concrete.

I saw your post this morning on the worlwide list of all cargo carriers, a very thorough list. I’ll do a quick post to
let people know here to head on over to your site for the complete list.
