ADVANCED cargo manifest reporting is now required by Indonesian customs as of 1 October.

The regulation targets shipments destined for Indonesia, detailing that house AWB (FHL) data, in EDI format, must be sent by the forwarder to the Indonesian customs system via the Traxon data network (Cargo Community System) or the airline’s homepage.

The required data are the same as US AMS regulations and they must be transmitted at least two hours prior to departure of the aircraft.
