Hapag Lloyd takeover?

Speculation mounted last week that Hapag-Lloyd, the world’s number five container line following its acquisition of CP Ships last year, could itself be taken over.

Rumours of a hostile takeover bid have seen the share price of parent group TUI, which also has large tourism interests, increase 20% in the last two months.
