European Ports Face Capacity Issues

It looks like the United States is not the only country facing capacity issues at their ports.

Via Logisticsmgmt.com:

Container traffic volumes in the principal ports of western Europe continue to increase in line with expectations but a shortage of container handling capacity is restraining growth. At the end of December, both Antwerp and Rotterdam announced annual figures showing growth in volumes passing through the ports in single figures.

Unsurprisingly much of the growth is attributed to imports from East Asia.
