SHIPWIRE.COM LAUNCHES INSTANT
WAREHOUSING AND SHIPPING SERVICE
FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

PALM DESERT, Calif., January 31, 2007 — Shipwire.com today announced at the DEMO 07
conference a service for online merchants to easily and quickly outsource the entire
process of receiving, warehousing and shipping merchandise. Shipwire.com offers
quick set-up and “hands-off” administration, enabling someone without training to
configure an account and have it fully operational in less than 15 minutes.
Afterwards, it is simply a matter of sending merchandise in bulk to Shipwire.com,
customers shopping on the merchant’s Website, and Shipwire.com packing and shipping
each order.

With plans starting at $29.95 a month, Shipwire.com is aimed at small businesses
that sell merchandise online. It is set apart from other offerings by its national
warehouse network, simple bundled pricing, and an open developer network. Signup
takes just a few clicks, and merchants can manage inventory and fulfillment online.
More than 30,000 online stores already have Shipwire technology built into their
operations.

Chris Shipley, executive producer of the DEMO conferences, said, “Shipwire.com’s
breadth of logistical services, and the tight integration of the solution, are
impressive. And for growing businesses, this scalable solution is a wonderful
alternative to managing logistics and hiring employees. Shipwire.com is a business
accelerator for thousands of small companies.”

Shipwire.com will appeal to anyone starting a new business, or expanding into a new
market. Kstreet, LLC is a perfect example. After a few minutes walking through the
online setup wizard, co-owner Sherilyn Luke had a shipping address to give her
vendor. The vendor shipped 30,000 bottles of their new personal care product
directly to Shipwire, without Luke needing to get involved at all. She was able to
focus on sending samples to upscale boutiques.

“We couldn’t have come this far without Shipwire.com,” says Luke. “It’s amazing how
little we knew about everything when we started with this tiny idea. Now we have
blown through our first 30,000 bottles, and the orders keep coming in.”

“Small businesses spend more than $50B a year bringing bulk merchandise into the
U.S., managing the inventory, and packing and shipping individual orders,” said
Damon Schechter, CEO of Shipwire.com, and author of the best-seller Delivering the
Goods. “For most of these businesses, shipping is an inefficient and unwanted cost
center. With Shipwire.com, any business can easily and quickly outsource this entire
process, saving money and improving service.”Shipwire.com can be contacted at 1-888-SHIPWIRE or www.shipwire.com
