Vietnam – Exports on the rise

Expect exports from Vietnam to rise with Vietnam’s admittance into the the WTO.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Trade has laid out a plan for trade growth post WTO entrance which includes the following key points.

1. Renovate trade promotion through the promotion of trade fairs.
2. Reorganize the activities of their trade representative offices in other countries.
3. Support local business in getting over trade barriers.
4. Ministry of trade will work with other government departments to boost export turnover and help business increase exports.
5. Explore further trade promoting activities with neighboring countries.
