Top Global 3PL’s

The annual ranking of the world’s top 25 3PL’s has been published in this month’s edition of Global Logistics and Supply Chain Strategies magazine. The report is compiled and written by Armstrong & Associates; a supply chain market research and consulting group.

The report ranks each company relative to their total logistics revenue and also provides an evaluation of each company’s service offerings, key customers, I.T. systems, global coverage, and assets.

With the integration of Exel complete in 2006, DHL Global Forwarding assumes the top spot in this years rankings with revenues of $31bn. K&N came in a distant second with $14.9bn in total revenues.

Here’s the top 10:

1. DHL – $31bn
2. K&N – $14.9bn
3. Schenker/Bax – $14bn
4. UPS SCS – $8bn
5. Panalpina – $7.2
6. CH Robinson – $6.6bn
7. Agility – $4.9bn
8. Ceva Logistics – $4.6bn
9. Expeditors – $4.6bn
10. NYK Logistics – $4.2bn
